Common industry terms explained.

A legal document issued by a carrier to a shipper that details the type, quantity, and destination of the goods being carried. It also serves as a receipt of shipment.
A Broker (Brightway) arranges the transport and finds the best truck. A Carrier is the company that physically owns the truck and moves the vehicle.
A payment method where the remaining balance is paid directly to the driver upon delivery via Cash, Cashier’s Check, or Money Order.
The driver picks up and delivers the vehicle as close to your specified address as legally and safely possible.
Shipping a vehicle inside a covered trailer, protecting it from weather and road debris. Recommended for classic or luxury cars.
A request to position the vehicle on the upper deck of the trailer to minimize risk of fluid leaks from other cars above it.
